Hi. Today there's nothing much to talk about. So Friday training, starting of training, shot some, airball almost all. Starting of training only like 10 people. Then we were separated from the seniors. And ran 4 rounds around the school, then had to restart because we weren't together. Then I got Jie Zhi because he slacked and drank water. Mdm Lim then called his uncle or something. Then played 5 on 5 full court. My team sucked. I picked the wrong players. People said I was too much of a solo player. Well. Not good is an overstatement. They errrr....suck. I was like behind these 2 Sec 1s and they were like damn competitive. They kept gloating and stuff like that. Then I was like. Then coach said he believed in him and then he hit 1 out of 2. Then James got the rebound and Sandy scored. Then it went to OT. We were again down by 1 then Jian Sheng hit a 3 and we were up by two. The Manjustri idiot got fouled and then missed both his free throws, then Bryan scored. Putting us up by 4. Then we won. All of us were so damn happy! TEMASEK HAS GOT TO THE EAST ZONE FINALS. I hope that they manage to meet my brother's team in Raffles and then show them that an average school in the East is able to play with the best basketball team in the nation! Please god. Okay. I screwed up. The Geography project was a complete failure. I really messed up. The guys didn't even tell me that I had to prepare. Firstly I was so frustrated that I kept swearing. The teacher got me for that. And I fumbled, and the teacher got me for that too. She stinks. I have to say good job to the AnnaJoanClaireJoyce group. And good news, I get to keep $100 out of the $922 I got. And my mom just told me I have about $20k in my bank. WOW! Oh yeah, I like Ironman.

McLaren Mercedes SLR

If you have read my earlier post, I have seen one of these hypercars. The SLR stuffs the SL65 AMG into oblivion. And all that power, it's just V8. That's pure muscle. Wow. The snatchy ceramic brakes can be somewhat irritating but it pulls this hypercar to a full halt in less than 105 feet. It does 0-62 in 3.8 seconds, but it has airbags for your knees. And it can do 208 miles an hour tops, but it has automatic child seat sensors. The SLR is fairly understated as a hypercar, mostly because of the fact that it has all the various luxuries.It's a long-legged GT cruiser. It's my favourite. It's fantastic.

Corvette ZR1

As all of you know, GM is clutching on to the balls of the American government. But they still have come up with a supercar. It's called a Corvette ZR1. I'm gonna summarize it before going into detail. It sucks. Sure various car programs have said that the car's awesome LS9 Supercharged V8 is a miracle, the carbon ceramic brakes are bullet proof, the huge road hugging 20 inch tyres are great. But I respectfully disagree. It is rubbish. Coming straight from America, this 6.2 liter blunderbuss is hard to keep your eyes off. The Corvette is too flash, too ostentatious and vulgar, too expensive for a plastic wedge with 4 wheels. They are gonna build only 2000 of these cars, and I think that's too exclusive for a car manufactured by 2 fat blokes in Ohio. Sure it sounds great and burning rubber is fun, but you get a plastic interior which is cramp, slightly iffy and smells of glue. I mean, these are the people who landed on the moon. Surely, they could have come up with something better than that. It absolutely doesn't win my heart.

I love Korea. And I love being half Korean too. It's cool. The weather there is so much nicer than Singapore. And the people aren't fussy. And you don't pay for all the funny taxes for cars. The subway line is somewhat confusing and yet easy to take. The changing of train is troublesome. It takes about 10 minutes. And I like the strange foods they have. Appetizing... I actually made that for Home Economics last year.

In front of you is the new U.S Spec Nissan GT-R. Gunmetal grey, right off the Nissan factory floor. You climb into the car, narrowly missing the beam by a centimeter. You grimace in pain as you sit on the rock hard bucket seats. You see a cheap, plastic looking starter button. You press it. The V6 coughs into life, damn, it sounds like a diesel. You look around the cabin. A very leathery feel. The screen for the computer functions looks like it came of a 19th century railway train. The air condition blows at you through small vents. And all of a sudden, you're at the Tsukuba circuit in Japan. You set the cars traction management system and scream in fury as the "diesel" car launches from 0-62 in 18 years. The first corner, the whole car shudders under braking and the massive forces make the car spin out. And then again. And then again. And when you finally can control it, you end up 2 inches away from the edge of the track and moving a 50mph sideways. Oh dear, is this the pinnacle of Japanese sports cars... On the road, SatNav woman keeps interrupting your Sunday drive. You run over a small rock, and because of the super stiff suspension, you end up with chronic backache. The Bose sound system warbles out some music but cannot be heard over the din in the cabin. Thanks to the overly eager rubber at the back. You need 13 tyre changes to reach from Miami to Jacksonville. And then you die because you hired a chauffeur and decide to sit in the microscopic seats at the back. God help Japan .
